Maybe I’m sheltered. I grew up pretty sheltered, in a (then, at least) safe suburban bedroom-community (also known as a commuter town). Less than 130,000 people in population when I was born.
In the years since, I feel like I’ve been searching constantly. Curious to explore and experience the more fringe aspects of life, and discover ancient knowledge; something beyond what typical society offers us: the career, the family with kids, the nice suburban home, etc.
And even more recently, I’m feeling pulled to the unknown… to the realms of what we can’t see, to death, to cycles of regeneration, to the void, to the unconscious, and the subconscious. To dreams, and shadow work, and the moon, and everything that thrives in the darkness. To bring a voice to the taboo.
The Unseen Realm is a curiosity and exploration of all of those forces in life.
I intend to explore teachings, philosophies, tools, and practices within different aspects of The Unseen Realm.
To try to keep myself on topic, and stay organized, it is also my intention to work within the subset of these 6 categories and their respective elements:
- Inner Knowing
- an exploration into meditation, hypnosis, divination methods, intuition, and self-trust
- Parts of a Whole
- an exploration of parts work, shadow work, your inner child, past lives, archetypes, and tarot as a tool
- All Things Energy
- an exploration of energy work (eg. Reiki), energy centres (chakras), and your energy body/self
- Team Spirit
- an exploration on spirit guides, spirit allies, mediumship, and the Akashic Records
- Nature + Cosmos
- an exploration into astrology, the moon, cycles+seasons, creation+destruction, elements, crystals, and spirits of nature
- Let's Talk About Death
- an exploration of death education, grief work, and death in fiction & mythology
And you should know in advance, I may also completely go off into left field from time to time.
The other element that’s important to me is play. I will aim to bring some levity and playfulness to the exploration of these “darker” matters. If we can learn and shed some fear along the way, I will consider this venture a success!

The information and knowledge I'm sharing here is a blend of experiential and studied, all opinions are my own (unless otherwise noted). While I am sharing teachings and philosophies on these topics, I am not posturing myself as the expert, but rather sharing what I've experienced, learned, and my own perspective as something to consider for yourself.
As you'll see within, I believe your own intuition and inner knowing is your best authority. Take what resonates and leave what doesn't; all while maintaining an open-heart and open-mind, as well as a childlike curiosity, while you delve into the depths of the unseen.
