The Path Through: Lessons in Discomfort - A Series
I’ve been sitting with this idea lately — what if the things we resist most aren’t here to block us, but to teach us? Resistance, grief, fear, chaos... the messy, uncomfortable parts of life we’re often so quick to avoid. What if they’re not just obstacles but invitations?
The more I reflect, the more I see these experiences as holding wisdom we rarely give ourselves the space to uncover. Resistance can point to where we’re out of alignment or afraid to grow. Grief reminds us of love, connection, and impermanence. Fear? Maybe it’s asking us to examine what’s holding us back. These moments of discomfort may not be easy, but they’re alive with transformation — if we’re willing to look deeper.
This is the heart of The Path Through: Lessons in Discomfort. It’s an exploration of what these challenging experiences have to teach us. Not from the lens of ‘overcoming’ them, but by embracing them, working with them, and finding the medicine within.
Over the next little while, I’ll be diving into these themes — unpacking what resistance, grief, fear, and more have to offer. My hope is that this series will feel like an invitation to shift perspectives, to lean into the discomfort, and to discover the profound lessons waiting on the other side.
Because here’s the truth: discomfort isn’t the end of the story. It’s a portal.
Let’s walk The Path Through together.
