FREE Meditation Library
Hello friends of the Unseen!
If you don’t know me personally, let me tell you that I am passionate about accessibility. This ‘ability to access’ to me not only applies to folks with disabilities, but accessibility in this context also encompasses folks who may be limited by other socio-economic factors.
I firmly believe everyone should have access to opportunities and resources that best support them. We are a diverse world, full of wonderful and beautifully diverse humans (among other beings), which also means that what our systems of power deem as “necessary” doesn’t always meet everyone’s requirements of basic and standard care.
When I started to develop and practice as a meditation teacher, almost 3 years ago now, I quickly became inspired to use free meditation as a way to create a more inclusive and equitable world for everyone.
Along with my firmly held beliefs in accessibility; I’m also an advocate for healing, as well as spiritual connection. And that's why I create free meditation videos and audio for the world!
If you believe in the idea that we are all connected, providing value (such as meditation) without adding barriers (for example: cost), just makes sense. I want more calm, relaxation, and less anxiety for EVERYONE.
So here is a quick way to access all of my free meditations, and it is my intention to keep this library directory updated for you right here on Substack. There are currently 4 hours of continuous meditations available, and counting!
Additionally, you can bookmark and follow me on Insight Timer and YouTube

Guided Meditations:

Sorted by length (shortest to longest)

[5 mins] 5-Min Break: A Brief Breathing Awareness Meditation

A brief moment of mindfulness - perfect for taking a 5-minute break and grounding yourself, following a stressful event, work, or even beginning your day. Check in with yourself and focus on your breath.

[11 mins] Heart-Breath Meditation

This method of meditative heart-breathing is deceptively simple, yet powerful in its results. Enhance your well-being by using this practice to help you get into a more positive emotional state. Your mind will become quieter. Relaxation will occur and your concentration will improve. As you connect with your heart, you will feel an instantaneous relaxation and calming effect. This practice opens and softens your heart. It oxygenates your blood and brings fresh energy into your body and mind.

[11 mins] Sri Yantra - Visual Focusing Meditation

A Yantra is an ancient tool used for meditation, in which the meditator gazes upon sacred geometric images to focus the mind. In this video, I instruct you how to use this Sri Yantra then put it on the screen for 10 minutes, in order to help you practice your focus. There is brown noise in the background to aid in focus, it can also mask sounds in your own environment.
NOTE: As this has a visual component, you may find this meditation best done on a TV or computer, vs a mobile device.

[12 mins] Laughter Meditation

This type of meditation can: stimulate oxygen throughout the brain and body; release endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin; reduce cortisol, which helps alleviate stress; lower blood pressure; strengthen the immune system; ease digestion; and/or promote relaxation. Even if you start with fake laughter, your natural response should take over!

[12 mins] Dream Analysis: Guided Mindfulness For Dream Interpretation

This guided, mindfulness meditation is designed to help you analyze the meaning of your own dreams. It is my belief that dream interpretation is a deeply personal process. This track will allow you to tap into your intuition to interpret the feelings, symbols, and/or characters present in a recent dream. By exploring and understanding our dreams, this meditation can then help us bring the learnings from dreams into our everyday lives.

[18 mins] Finding Flow in Presence

Connect with your energy body! Explore being present with yourself and find the flow of energy running within. Sensing the inside of our bodies takes us out of the mind, gives clarity, and moves you into a slightly different dimension of consciousness.

[19 mins] Guided Walking Meditation

If you can do this outside, please do! This is a version of mindfulness. Walking meditation can help increase awareness both of our internal sensations and our external surroundings, tuning us into experiences that we often miss. Paying closer attention to the process of walking can also increase our sense of appreciation and enjoyment of our physical bodies.

[19 mins] New Moon Meditation

Connect with lunar energy! The new moon is our time for renewal, new beginnings, and starting over. This meditation allows you to tune into what you want to create, manifest, and put into motion this lunar cycle. I use this practice every new moon!

[20 mins] Embodying The Beginner's Mind

A guided meditation on activating, exploring, and embodying the beginner's mind. Explore a meditative practice, like it's your first time. While I make suggestions on what to notice, or where to direct focus throughout; you'll also be guided to release expectations and preconceptions, while being open to infinite possibility. Your wisdom is the ultimate director, unlike other meditations or hypnosis, this is not meant to direct you into a particular state, but instead, creates spaciousness and openness for you to explore.

[20 mins] Honouring Grief

Focus on creating space and healing for grief. By honouring our grief in this way, an emotion and experience that is so personal and generally resisted, you may experience transformation, energetic or physical releases, insights, or other emotions arising. Know that in this space, it is all welcomed, and never judged.

[21 mins] Embracing Change

What if all change is leading you to a BETTER life? We have many natural, and mostly unconscious aversions to change, as humans. By recognizing and challenging our biases, we can develop a more balanced perspective toward change and embrace the potential benefits it may bring. This meditation guides you through actively embracing change as you sit with and explore your bodily sensations, and reflect on your relationship to change.

[21 mins] Yoga Nidra

Great for sleep! Imagine Yoga Nidra as a journey that travels from the most outward experience closer to the body, then inside and ultimately so far inside that the outer senses are being turned down. This is a systematic method of turning the senses inward, away from outer experiences, leading to complete relaxation, spontaneous contact with the subconscious and unconscious.

[23 mins] Full Moon Meditation

The full moon is our time to release what no longer serves us. Tune into some compassionate reflection towards playing small, self-doubt, self-sabotage, and more this lunar cycle. While not required, some portions of this meditation reference the intention you set at the new moon, so I use this in conjunction with my new moon meditation, every full moon.

[24 mins] Transmutation Meditation

This one’s powerful! Energy transmutation through the heart centre. This meditation guides you in transmuting and transforming any “negative” energies using the power of your heart, so you can breathe out love. Please practice grounding following this practice, which can be as simple as drinking a glass of water.

I would love to hear if you tried any of these and what you experienced. Your feedback is so valuable to me 🫶 If you’ve tried more than one — what was your favourite? Feel free to leave a comment on Insight Timer / YouTube. Also feel free to share with me any topics for meditation that you would love to see me cover in the coming months!
